The Ton Ton defense? 2003-06-09 My esteemed collegue Muckluck made an observation tonight concerning the case of Scott Peterson and why he murdered his wife. He said "Maybe he was cold when he went fishing because the heater died on the boat, and decided to cut her open to stay warm?" Interesting theory. I can see that. He calls it "The Empire Strikes Back" defense but I call it the Ton Ton Theory for short, plus it just sounds better. Maybe we should be defending Scott? I could use the Chewbacca Theory Johnny used!
